Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture
and Historic
Campbell House

Museum features thematic exhibitions related to the development of the Inland Northwest
region and the Plateau Indian cultures; traditional and contemporary changing art
exhibitions; and changing historical and current issue exhibitions. The adjacent 1898
Campbell House, which is celebrating its centennial in 1998, is a National Historic
Register landmark, and has been beautifully restored and furnished to portray the
lifestyle of a mining tycoon's family during Spokane's "Age of Elegence". The
Museum's store features beautiful art from regional artists and specialized books
available for purchase. Located on landscaped grounds in historic Browne's Addition, the
museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday 10:00am-9:00pm, Sunday
1:00-5:00pm and closed Monday and major holidays. |
Bing Crosby Memorabilia Room
at Gonzaga University

Gonzaga University welcomes visitors to enjoy the country's largest public collection of
Bing Crosby memorabilia, located in the Crosby Student Center at his alma mater. Bing's
boyhood home at 508 E. Sharp is now home of the Gonzaga Alumni Association and is also
open to the public. Viewing hours at the Memorabilia Room are 7:30 a.m. until midnight
Monday through Friday and 11:00 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday. (Summer hours may
change.)

Fairchild Air Force Base Heritage
Museum

Highway 2. Exhibits capture the legacy of the Air Force Base's history, past and present.
Free admission. Open 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Visitors must stop at the Base Visitor Center and should be prepared to show valid
identification, car registration is and proof of insurance for admittance to the Base.

Ridgeway Road, Deer Park, WA. A collection of over 500 farm implements and household goods
dating from 1890 through 1950 that commemorate the life of 'Willie' Greiff whose parents
immigrated to the united States from Germany.

Historical Society

Staffed by volunteers, this museum is open most Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons in summer

Chase Gallery

Falls Blvd. Many permanent collection pieces are on display throughout City Hall. A
listing of permanent collection pieces and their locations available at the Information
Desk. Monthly exhibits are displayed in Chase Gallery on the lower level of City Hall.
Open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Monday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Corbin Art Center

the Spokane Park and Recreation Department, Corbin Art Center provides fine arts and
crafts class programming, art exhibits in the Daniel Corbin Gallery, cultural events and a
facility rental program. The center is located in the historic D.C. Corbin House built in
1898. A series of activities are planned throughout the year to celebrate the house
centennial. The house is on the Spokane Register of Historic Places and situated in the
Marycliff/Cliff Park National Register Historic District. Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. -
4:00p.m., Saturdays and evenings when classes are in session.
Douglas Gallery

original fine paintings, bronze sculpture, hand blown art glass, original prints, original
etchings and original lithographs by Masters artists such as Rembrandt, Renoir, Cassatt
Tissot, Robbe, Cheret and others. The Douglas Gallery showcases a wide variety of fine art
in a large, fine museum setting. Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday
and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Jundt Art Museum
(509) 328-4220 Ext,3211, Located on the north bank of the Spokane River at 202 E. Cataldo
Avenue. Gonzaga University's Jundt Art Museum features changing exhibits of local,
regional, national, international, faculty and student artists, as well as a permanent
chandelier by Dale Chihuly. Rotating and permanent displays of Rodin sculpture. Old
Masters and contemporary prints, and blown glass by Dale Chihuly are also featured.
Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturdays noon to 4:00 p.m. Closed University
holidays.
