Her childhood years were in western North Dakota, on a grain/cattle farm, now approaching the 4th generation, family owned and operated. College in Minnesota, (Concordia College, Moorhead), and elementary school teaching followed in Fargo, North Dakota. Marriage and young family years were enjoyed in Billings and Red Lodge, Montana, as well as later moves to Evergreen, Colorado, and Whitefish, Montana. Spokane, Washington, has been “home” since 1986.
